Back from Sakura-con!
Friday had some bad weather but it slowly cleared up over the weekend.. guess that is to be expected from "the rainy city."
I met many DA cosplayers from the Northwest area, it's exciting meeting people from different states and even Canada.
It's amazing what a small world this really is, with people knowing people. Currently working my way through the photos, I had twice as many photoshoots in comparison to my last con so things are getting a bit more hectic with communication and coordination.I encountered some unexpected problems this weekend. Working with large groups in crowded locations is tough, not only because of people wandering into shots but other photographers who don't realize you're shooting a private shoot. I'm no good at being authoritative and it was really obvious. I also can't help but wonder if my appearance has something to do with it... I probably look like another cosplayer friend who is just helping out with photos. It's something I need to think about for next time. I'd love to hear what other photographers do in situations like these. Even if it's something like "I tell them to go away."
Need to practice yelling, too. I'm sorry to cosplayers who had trouble hearing my instructions. >_<
There are still lots of things I need to work on, thank you for putting up with me~~~
The usual report with funny candids and things will come in a week or two when more photos have been processed. In the meantime, photos will be uploaded sporadically to this account and other DA cosplayers' galleries.
To end on a happy note, there were many Hetalia cosplayers!!
The fandom just keeps growing and growing!
